Crowned Credit

Crowned Credit Refund & Money-Back Guarantee Policy

There are four distinct ways to get money back from Crowned Credit. This page explains exactly what each one covers, who qualifies, and how to claim — in plain English.

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Yes — there are four separate refund paths at Crowned Credit, and each one has its own trigger. You don't have to pick between them; whichever applies to your situation is the one that governs.

1. The 3-business-day statutory right (CROA)

You can cancel within three (3) business days of signing your Service Agreement, for any reason, with no penalty and no obligation. You get a full refund. This is a federal legal right under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) — every legitimate credit repair company must offer it. See What is CROA? for more on this law.

2. The pre-first-round refund

If you cancel any time after the 3-business-day window but before we submit your first dispute round, Crowned Credit refunds the fees you've paid — regardless of whether the 3-business-day period has already passed. This is internal policy, confirmed by ownership on September 3, 2026, and it's written into your Service Agreement (ToS §6).

3. The non-performance refund

Refunds under this path are based on non-performance of services, not on dissatisfaction. If Crowned Credit fails to perform any of the defined service activities during a paid billing cycle, and you met your client responsibilities, your exclusive remedy is a refund of that cycle's membership fee or a credit toward a subsequent cycle, at the Company's election — this path does not guarantee cash back. What counts as performance for a cycle: credit analysis completed, disputes prepared, disputes submitted with confirmation records, or follow-up actions on prior submissions. Status updates alone do not constitute performance. This path is strictly about Crowned Credit failing to do the work during a paid cycle — it is not triggered by being unhappy with results or pace.

4. The 90-Day Zero-Removal Guarantee

If no inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable item is deleted or corrected on any bureau within 90 days from our first confirmed dispute submission — and you met your responsibilities as a client during that window — you may claim a full refund of the service fees paid during that 90-day period.

What do I have to do to qualify for the 90-day guarantee?

All of the following are required for the full 90-day window:

  • Keep continuous access to credit monitoring active
  • Stay current on your payments to us
  • Don't apply for new credit and don't let a new late payment post during the window
  • Respond to Company requests within 5 business days
  • Don't run independent disputes or hire another credit-repair company on the same items

Miss any one of these during the 90-day window, and the guarantee doesn't apply — even if zero items were deleted.

What does this actually look like? Real examples

The guarantee is easiest to understand through examples. Here are six realistic scenarios, including two where the claim is denied — because being honest about denials is more useful (and more credible) than implying everyone gets a refund.

Example 1: Maria cancels two days after signing

Outcome: Full refund. Maria signed on a Monday and canceled Wednesday. She's inside the 3-business-day statutory window, so she gets every dollar back, no questions about progress or performance.

Example 2: David cancels on day 12, before his first round is sent

Outcome: Full refund. David is past the 3-business-day window, but his account is still in onboarding — Crowned Credit hasn't submitted his first dispute round yet. Because cancellation happened before the first round went out, he gets a full refund of what he paid under the pre-first-round refund policy.

Example 3: Tanya's billing cycle passes with no work done

Outcome: Credit issued to next cycle. Tanya was billed for her monthly cycle, but Crowned Credit didn't complete a credit analysis, prepare or submit any disputes, or take any follow-up action on prior submissions during that cycle — only a status update was sent, which doesn't count as performance. Tanya met her own responsibilities as a client. Because Crowned Credit didn't perform the defined service activities for that cycle, she's entitled to a remedy under the non-performance refund path. Crowned Credit elected to apply a credit toward Tanya's next billing cycle rather than a cash refund, which is within its rights under this path — the remedy is a refund of that cycle's fee or a credit, at the Company's election, not a guaranteed cash payout.

Example 4: Priya's 90 days pass with zero deletions

Outcome: Refund approved. Priya kept her credit monitoring active, stayed current on payments, didn't apply for new credit, and responded to every request within 5 business days. Ninety days after the first confirmed dispute submission, nothing had been deleted or corrected on any bureau. She emailed to claim within 15 days of the window closing, and her refund was approved.

Example 5: Marcus gets three deletions but is unhappy with the pace

Outcome: Guarantee does not apply. Three items were deleted from Marcus's reports during month two of his 90-day window. He's frustrated that progress feels slow and wants a refund anyway. The guarantee doesn't cover this — it's a zero-removal guarantee, not a satisfaction guarantee. Because at least one item was deleted or corrected during the window, the guarantee condition (zero removals) was never met, regardless of how he feels about the speed of results.

Example 6: Jasmine lets her credit monitoring lapse

Outcome: Denied. Jasmine's monitoring subscription lapsed for three weeks during her 90-day window, and no items were deleted. Even though zero removals happened, she didn't meet the qualifying condition of continuous credit-monitoring access, so her claim is denied. Maintaining monitoring is how Crowned Credit verifies bureau activity — it isn't optional paperwork.

How do I claim a refund under the 90-day guarantee?

Email [email protected] within 15 days after your 90-day window ends. Include your name and account details.

  • Crowned Credit audits your account records within 10 business days of your claim.
  • If approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method.
  • Claims submitted after the 15-day claim window may not be honored.

What isn't covered by the guarantee?

The following are excluded from the 90-Day Zero-Removal Guarantee:

  • Third-party fees, such as credit monitoring subscriptions
  • Services already performed
  • Periods where you didn't maintain active monitoring access
  • Non-cooperation with Company requests
  • Disputes you ran independently or through another credit-repair company on the same items
  • Outcomes outside the Company's control

Is this a satisfaction guarantee?

No. This is a confidence policy, not a satisfaction guarantee. Crowned Credit is confident enough in its dispute process to refund clients when literally nothing was removed or corrected in 90 days. It is not a promise to refund clients who are simply unhappy with how fast results are coming, or who want more removed than what qualifies as inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable.

This page summarizes the refund and cancellation terms in your signed Service Agreement. The full legal terms — including all requirements and exclusions — are set out in our Terms of Service (§5.3 Refunds and §6 Cancellation). If anything on this page and your signed Service Agreement ever conflict, the signed Service Agreement governs.

Results vary based on individual credit profiles and are not guaranteed. Crowned Credit is a service of Crowned Advisors Inc. We do not promise specific score increases or the removal of accurate, current, and verifiable information.
